Using your body to ask Yes-Or-No questions

Ask-the-UniverseIn our Fly Akasha! book Helena Struik and I do not encourage you to pose yes-or-no questions when opening your Akashic Records. Reason: they are closed questions that give little or no insights. This is what we wrote about it in Chapter 5 of the book:

Good questions are aimed at obtaining a better insight into situations. Suppose you aren’t sure if you’ve dealt the right way with something. Now, you could ask something like: ‘Have I done the right thing?’ The answer to your question will be either yes or no. Such a yes-versus-no question, also known as a closed question, leads to extremely restricted answers that yield little to no insight. In the Akashic Records (and elsewhere) it is therefore better to ask open-ended questions. For instance: you could ask how you could have dealt with a situation at hand in a better way. That is an open question. And it might just lead to aspects you might have overlooked, and thus increase your insight.
So it is best to not pose a yes-no question in the Akashic Records. They aren’t an oracle, but a field of consciousness and a source of wisdom.

However, everybody has a lot of yes-or-no questions. Many times a day. Sometimes many times an hour. Therefore it would be mighty handy to have a good Akashic method for them too.

Last weekend I discovered a new book that describes exactly such a method. In You Can Ask The Universe Anything! yoga instructor, acupuncturist and teacher of traditional Oriental medicine Michael Hetherington tells us how to pose closed questions and receive clear answers that are still somewhat ‘open’. It is a method that is fully compatible with our Akashic approach.

In practicing the ‘Sway Testing Method’ that Hetherington describes our body is the antenna in the Field, like a living dowsing rod. It can move (sway) forward (yes) or backward (no) in reaction to questions and at the same time you can experience additional sensory impressions related to that question.

Examples of questions:
Is the energy in this book close to truth?
Does this practice bring me closer to truth?
Will the planet survive regardless of what humans do?

Hetherington does not mention Akasha or Akashic Records in his book. He speaks about ‘The Infinite Field of Intelligence’, which of course is fine. This is not about words. This is about subtle energies, methods and personal experiences.

You Can Ask The Universe Anything complements the Akashic literature that is available today. It fills the Yes-No gap.
It is pleasantly written, inspired, short, and extremely affordable.
Do not hesitate to add it to your spiritual toolset.

Combine this book with our book and you have a powerful duo!

Who are ‘they’? With whom am I dealing while opening the Akashic Records?

colorful-1254541_1280

If you have been practising for a while with opening the Akashic Records you will have noticed that ‘something’ is communicating with you once you have gone a bit deeper into this other state of consciousness. A kind of dialogue develops.

Wonderful of course, because that’s what it is all about. However… this can also cause fear, because you haven’t got the foggiest idea about who or what this invisible yet evidently perceptible ‘something’ is.

You may well wonder: ‘With whom am I dealing here?’
We are convinced that these are positive, helping energies that translate the contents of the Records in a way that fits you. You could call them ‘guides’ or ‘interpreters’. Contrary to this is the fact that it invokes an ‘anthropomorphic’ image, which isn’t completely in line with the Records’ predominantly energetic atmosphere.

If you have been practising more often you will notice that these energies are hardly identical each time. Often ‘they’ are present as a group. In a way there is an entire team at your service. Much depends on the question you have in mind when opening the Records. This question—and even more importantly: what you feel at that moment—determines what will surface during an Opening. Depending on your question, somewhere a mix is set out for you by something or someone. We will explore the steering effects of questions further in this book.

Who or what are these helping energies?
You can rack your brains about this, but the question is if that is very useful. Compare this to a concert. What matters in the end is that you experience beautiful music. The names of the musicians, where they come from and how they come to play their instruments so beautifully isn’t very important at all. That is, as long as the music sounds good. So as long as these energies are beneficial to you, you may just as well simply appreciate their presence.

You will notice that when you have an affinity with one of these ‘energies’ you may have a tendency to give it a name. Nothing wrong with that. Just don’t make this all too ‘real’. Keep in mind that this is a kind of ‘in a manner of speaking’.

In her pioneering book about the Akashic Records, Linda Howe refers to these energies as Masters, Teachers, Guides and Loved Ones. Here, Masters are higher beings working in the background as you develop over a long series of consecutive lives. According to Howe you are not in direct contact with them. Contrary to Teachers and Loved Ones. She states that they are closer to you, and it is with them that the dialogues take place.

We think that your philosophy of life colors your Akashic experience and determines how you interpret impressions and which names you feel like using. Which in turn means that these names are highly relative and subjective. Moreover, we have the impression that quite a few energies (or spirits) we encounter in the Akashic field are ‘beyond names’.

The message: do not make it too big for yourself. Awe is fine, but at the same time keep it relaxed. Use the terminology you feel comfortable with.

(this is a fragment of chapter two of the Fly Akasha e-book)

Kozyrev mirrors and the Akashic field: what’s the connection?

When establishing a connection with the Akashic field we use our body and our mind as reading instruments. We ourselves are the ‘antenna’.
What about other instruments? Other antennas?

The so called Kozyrev mirror might be such a non body related Akashic instrument. Nikolai Alexandrovich Kozyrev is a Russian astrophysicist (1908-19983) and inventor of a spirally formed mirror that invokes a torion field that changes our etheric (Ka) body and our consciousness. It is said that the effects can be stronger than LSD.

It is also said that this torsion field (which is Time and Akasha ‘at the same time’) washes away our hindering convictions, blocked emotions as well as fears and on top of that is able to remove forms of negative self esteem.
Boy! Sounds like an enlightenment machine!

So maybe in the not so far future we will all have a Little Snow-White mirror. Asking her all sorts of questions and getting the nicest and wisest answers. A new and essential Akashic piece of furniture.

Meanwhile we need to be patient and use our own body and Akashic reading skills. The Kozyrev mirror is still in a stage of fundamental research that is done in the labs.

Here is an interesting Russian tv movie about this phenomenon, called Breaking the Future:

Following is the introduction section of the book:

A grand adventure
According to numerous spiritual traditions, after death your soul travels to ‘a place of overview’. There you will be able to behold the life you lived with great clarity. In one flash you draw all the essential lessons from it. You will also see the fundamental connections with the lives before the one you just left, as well as the possibilities and challenges in future incarnations. It is a wonderful notion that such a place of overview exists. Who wouldn’t be excited? A little less appealing perhaps is the knowledge that you will only reach such a place after you die. Wouldn’t it be great if you could go there without having to die first?

Well, we are convinced you can. Namely by accessing the cosmic memory field that surrounds us always and everywhere, also known as the Akashic Records. The Sanskrit word Akasha means firmament, heaven or ether. These days it is also sometimes referred to as the field.

Until recently, the art of consulting this cosmic memory field had been the privilege of a very select few: mediums with a rare congenital talent in this field, like Edgar Cayce and Rudolf Steiner. In addition there have been spiritual practitioners with high degrees of initiation, who had to keep their knowledge secret from the general public.

But fortunately all this has changed recently. The ban of secrecy has been broken. We do not know who or what has caused this. Maybe through atmospheric changes we have all become a bit more sensitized for communication with ‘the field’. Maybe there are other causes. It doesn’t really bring us anything to speculate about this. Fact is that we now know ‘how to do it ourselves’. Which we can all immensely benefit from. For this knowledge is a great gift.

The Akashic Records provide you with a fascinating place of overview. A very wide perspective giving you a better grip on important aspects of your life: your goals, your relationships, your personal development and the projects you are undertaking or want to undertake. And you are completely free here, not dependent on anyone, because this overview is something you develop.

This book is a practical guide. We will share in detail with you how you yourself may—responsibly—tap into this precious spiritual source. Working with the Records is a grand spiritual adventure.

Crowdfunding further exploration of The Hum

Thanks @humthefilm for drawing my attention to your project. It deals with a fascinating topic: the hum that 2 percent of the population is hearing. In Holland a documentary about this subject – called De Brom – had its premiere on November 16 of 2015.

I do not belong to these 2 percent of regular hum-hearers. But, sometimes, when deep in an Akashic Opening, I do hear a hum. Loud and clear. It is even somewhat frightening, because it is unfamiliar to me. In the book I wrote with Helena Struik this sound experience is mentioned in chapter 2.

The movie makers of the Hum Sci-Fi project are linking this sound to approaching another dimension. That would be something!

I hope the crowdfunding campaign will be succesful, thus enabling further exploration of this phenomenon.

Don’t think out of the box. Think beyond the box!

Recently I gave two Akashic workshops. One in the city of Assen and one in Bant, both places located in The Netherlands. Speaking with the participants I once again noticed how strongly inclined we are to only believe what our five senses tell us. Which, according to modern physics, is at most 4% of what is ‘out there’.

What we see and feel is very real, but also the expression of an invisible underlying field. It is a contraction (or compaction) of matter, directed from another realm. As a result if we only believe what we sense directly, we turn a blind eye tot this vast underlying field of energy and information. With a sight of 4% we are nearly blind.

We need another perspective. One in which we think the other way round. First comes the vast underlying field, secondly the tangible expressions in matter.

This is not what is called thinking out of the box, because doing that you don’t transcend the present tangible reality. You remain in the world of matter, whereas thinking beyond the box brings you in another dimension. In a field of countless possibilities. You there are in a stage before manifestation, turning you into a Co-Creator!

Below you will find two video’s as an illustration of these thoughts.

Video 1:
What our senses register is a contraction of matter

Video 2 (starting at 18:50):
The physical world as a watermark in the ether and matter and energy as waves in the ether

A rich online source of Akashic inspiration

Answers From the Akashic RecordsScanning lists in my Kindle e-reader looking for books dedicated to the Akashic Records I found ‘Answers From the Akashic Records’. The subtitle reads: Transcript from the Akashic Records Online Group Session 1.

I assumed that these were transcripts from sessions of a group of Akashic practitioners, a phenomenon I am highly interested in (see my posting on the team that did an experiment aimed at better understanding the origins and functions of the Bosnian Pyramids).

‘Answers from’ is not something like that. It is a project of a couple, named Aingeal Rose (Ireland) and Ahonu (USA). Both are authors, speakers, researchers, radio hosts and spiritual teachers. They host weekly online sessions attended by an audience that poses all sorts of questions.

The e-book I did read is part 1 in a series of 10. It contains short summaries of Akashic readings on a wide range of subjects, like negative entities, experiences after death, aliens, chemtrails, time, Atlantis, meditation, suicide and more.

I particularly liked the chapter about ‘Paradise Earth’. Two quotes:
“We have to switch tracks so that we are aware of it (=Paradise Earth) being already here.”
“The interssting thing about Earth is that there are many Earths. As much as there is a 1984 scenario of Earth (which we seem to be on, by the way), there is also a Paradise version of Earth that is happening right now.”

There is a lot of material available from this project that started in 2009:
* The e-books on Amazon
* The website
* A YouTube channel
* Weekly sessions

All these findings from the Akashic Records can provide you with a rich source of inspirration. At the same time there is some risk involved, because these answers are general (or better: generic) in nature. To find your own personal answers you need to open your own Akashic Records and sometimes also those of loved ones that give you permission to do so.

Nothing can replace your own practice in connecting with your own Akashic Records.

Nevertheless ‘Answers from’ is warmly recommended as a stimulus.

Akasha thinks the worlds

The-Immortal-Mind-coverThe book The Immortal Mind of Ervin Laszlo and Anthony Peake is an important one for practitioners of Akashic readings.
In part one, which is the largest part of the book, both authors offer a lot of emperical evidence of the existence of consciousness outside a living human brain. For instance in near-dead expeiences, in communications with deceased relatives and in memories of past lives.

In part two ot the book a connection is made with modern science, in particular with quantum physics. Now we can understand our own immortal minds as an integral part of the cosmic ‘Supermind’ which is the ground pattern underlaying all manifestations in the physical, material world. That deeper and in essence spiritual dimension Laszlo and Peake call ‘the Akasha’.

It is the fifth element, the ether, that ‘thinks the worlds’.
For me this is a wonderful way of analyzing our world. We now have the Akasha, which is an almost unspeakable universe of consciosness, also known as the Creator at the one hand and at the other its Memory of all that happens in all worlds and times, also known as the Akashic Records.

‘Immortal mind’ answers the question what the meaning of the word ‘Akasha’ is when we speak about the ‘Akashic Records’. It confirms what practitioners already know based on their own experiences: it is something Really Big. The authors name it “the unitary Logos of the cosmos”.
